Jeremy Lachance’s indie rock songs exude a charm—a certain je-ne-sais-quoi—that’s unmistakably Montreal. With the naïveté of a wanderer and the craftsmanship of an artisan, he creates music that naturally settles into the languid afternoons of Mile End.
Jeremy knows how to put on white gloves when writing, composing, or producing for others (Miel de Montagne, Laraw, Kieran Campbell). But when it comes to his own work, the musician isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. The result is a collection of velvety textures where the seams are deliberately left visible: soft, soothing, but intentionally imperfect. Best known as part of the indie band Grand Eugène, Jeremy Lachance now steps into the spotlight as a singer-songwriter.
