Driven by her guts, stubbornness and hard work, Lydia Képinski, the multi-instrumentalist, poetic-static all-terrain artist gave birth to her first album of bittersweet pop songs. Dwelling on the topic of attachment, the menders of personality disorders, soul-searching or the celebration of youth, Premier juin led her to great success (ADISQ, Polaris list, GAMIQ, Sadenight…). Let’s just hope that one day soon, people will finally spell her name correctly.
